A COMMON MISSION: ZERO WASTE

The District Office of Berlin-Neukölln has launched "Zero Waste Neukölln" to create the conditions for a life without waste – and that for everyone. Our mission is clear: to prevent waste from arising in the first place, promote the circular economy, and develop new ideas and projects for a waste-free Neukölln.

We strolled through the streets of Neukölln, engaging with residents to hear their thoughts on reducing waste. Our focus wasn't the typical vision of overflowing trash on the streets. Instead, we aimed to highlight the beauty of Neukölln and emphasize the importance of pursuing a zero-waste strategy.
